Following the popular social media image of Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa Shrinivas purportedly wearing a ‘tiger claw pendant’ around his neck, a team from the state forest department is searching his home.
According to reports, the actor visited the Sri Kshetra Horanadu shrine recently, as seen in the photos.
An employee of the Janata Party filed a complaint, leading to the forest department conducting the search.
It is illegal to kill wild animals and to possess or sell their horns, claws, skins, or other body parts under the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972.
In Bengaluru, at Srinivas’s, people are searching to see if there are any tiger claws.
