Mumbai: Price of sovereign gold depreciated for third day in a row. Sovereign gold is priced at Rs 45,120, down by Rs 240 per 8 gram. Yesterday, yellow metal suffered a loss of Rs 400 per 8 gram and on Monday it declined by Rs 160 per 8 gram. Gold suffered a loss of Rs 800 per 8 gram in three days.

In global markets, price of spot gold fell 0.2% to $1,979.71 per ounce.U.S. gold futures dropped 0.3% to $1,988.70. price of spot gold reported a 7.3% jump in October. Price of spot silver dropped 0.8% to $22.71 per ounce, platinum slipped 0.5% to $929.46 and palladium rose 0.6% to $1,122.09.
