Mumbai: Public sector oil marketing companies in the country, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation revised the retail prices of commercial LPG. The price of commercial LPG sold in 19-kilogram cylinders were hiked up to Rs 101.5. The new rate will be effective from today, November 1, 2023.
This is the second time in the past two months that the commercial LPG cylinder prices have been hiked. Monthly revisions for both commercial and domestic LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) cylinders occur on the first day of each month. Meanwhile, the oil companies have decided to keep the rate of domestic LPG, which is utilized for cooking in households unchanged.

A 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 1,833 instead of Rs 1,731 in Delhi. In Mumbai, a commercial LPG cylinder will be available at Rs 1,785.50, Rs 1,943 per cylinder in Kolkata and Rs 1,999.50 per cylinder in Chennai.
