An old farmer from Hoshiarpur, Punjab, won a Rs 2.5 crore lottery. The man, Sheetal Singh, went to a pharmacy to get medication for a family member. He lives in the city of Mahilpur.
The man bought a lotto ticket while he was in the store. After almost four hours, according to Singh, he got a call about the lottery telling him he had won Rs 2.5 crore.
Singh went on to say that he and his family would choose how to spend the lottery winnings. The man is a farmer by trade and is married with two kids. Every child has a spouse.
The lottery booth owner, meantime, revealed that this was his fifteenth year in business and that this was the third time a customer had won a lottery worth crores of dollars.
