Mumbai: Indian batter Shubman Gill overtook Babar Azam of Pakistan to become No.1 batter in the recent ICC ODI ranking. India’s fast bowler Mohammed Siraj also claimed top spot in ICC ODI Bowler’s ranking.
Shubman Gill now has 830 rating points. He also became the second fastest to the No.1 ranking in 41 innings. MS Dhoni remains the fastest to have got there in 38 innings. Virat Kohli has climbed three places to reach 4th spot in the ICC ODI rankings. India’s number 4 batsman Shreyas Iyer has also climbed 17 places to reach 18th place in the ODI batting rankings.

Siraj is in the top position with 709 points, followed by Keshav Maharaj on 694 and Adam Zampa on 662. Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami are the other three bowlers in the top 10 of the rankings.
