Shania Twain’s Tour Crew Hospitalized in Bus-Truck Collision

Tragedy struck Shania Twain’s ongoing tour in Canada as members of the tour crew were involved in a serious bus accident, resulting in 13 injuries. The injured individuals were promptly transported to nearby hospitals, where they are currently receiving treatment for what has been described as ‘non-life-threatening injuries.’

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police attributed the highway accident, which occurred between Winnipeg and Saskatoon, to adverse weather conditions. Maverick Management, Shania Twain’s management company, released a statement to various media outlets addressing the incident. The statement clarified that the accident involved one crew bus and one truck from the ‘Shania Twain – Queen Of Me’ tour.

Detailing the circumstances, the company explained, “Multiple vehicles encountered dangerous driving conditions due to inclement weather.” It confirmed that members of the production crew requiring medical attention have been taken to nearby hospitals. Importantly, the statement emphasized that Shania Twain was not present on the bus during the crash.

Expressing gratitude to emergency services teams for their swift response, the company requested patience as they attend to the well-being of their touring family. Shania Twain commenced the ‘Queen Of Me’ tour in April, with a recent performance in Winnipeg on November 7. The upcoming show scheduled for November 9 is uncertain as to whether the crash will impact its occurrence. The incident underscores the unforeseen challenges and risks associated with touring, even for seasoned artists like Shania Twain.
