Thiruvananthapuram: Flag carrier of Malaysia, Malaysian Airlines will launch direct flight service to Kerala, India. The air carrier will operate a direct flight service between Thiruvananthapuram and Kuala Lumpur. The airline will deploy its Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a capacity of 174 passengers including business class for the service,
The flight will be operated initially on Thursdays and Sundays from Thiruvananthapuram. The flight will arrive at 11 pm and depart at midnight. This will be the first Malaysian Airlines service from Thiruvananthapuram.

The air carrier also launched a direct flight service connecting Kuala Lumpur with Amritsar in Punjab. The introduction of two new routes expands Malaysia Airlines’ point-to-point connectivity from Kuala Lumpur to India to eight cities, including New Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi.
Beyond Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Airlines will provide good connectivity to countries like Australia, New Zealand, North America, Japan, China, Hongkong, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, etc.
