On Wednesday evening, a fire erupted in a coach of the New Delhi-Darbhanga Special Express near Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, as reported by Himanshu Upadhyay, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of North Central Railways. The station master at Sarai Bhopat junction observed smoke from coach S1.
“The train was promptly halted, and passengers were evacuated. Everyone is safe; no casualties have been reported,” stated Upadhyay. The affected coach was separated, and fire tenders are actively addressing the situation. As of now, there are no casualties in this incident.
