Mumbai: India based private air carrier, IndiGo launched a new domestic flight service. The air carrier introduced flights connecting Veer Surendra Sai Airport in Jharsuguda to Bengaluru. Flight to Jharsuguda will depart Bengaluru at 10.15 a.m. and arrive in Jharsuguda at 12.20 p.m. It will then return to Bengaluru at 12.50 p.m. and land at 2.55 p.m.
Earlier the airline started first direct flight connecting Odisha’s Jharsuguda to Kolkata in West Bengal.The Jharsuguda-bound flight would depart from Kolkata at 5.50 p.m. and arrive in Jharsuguda at 7.25 p.m. It will take off from Jharsuguda at 7.55 p.m. and land in Kolkata at 9.20 p.m.

Jharsuguda is the 84th domestic and 116th total destination of the air carrier. The airline will deploy an ATR-72 aircraft for flights to Kolkata and an Airbus 320 for flights to Bengaluru. Both flights will be available every day of the week.
