The shroud of secrecy surrounding the custom-built luxury bus for the LDF government’s Nava Kerala Sadas has finally been lifted. Despite social media speculation on its features and specialties, the state government successfully kept the Rs 1.08-crore Benz luxury coach undisclosed.
As the Nava Kerala Sadas inauguration approaches, the exclusive bus intended for Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his ministers’ commute has emerged. Departing from Lal Bagh in Bengaluru, the bus is en route to Kasaragod, the inaugural venue, with an anticipated arrival Saturday morning.
Reportedly adorned with illustrations of Kerala’s iconic destinations, the bus showcases the state’s distinctive features. Images of Chinese fishing nets, houseboats, and the diverse religious landmarks, including temples, mosques, and churches, are prominently featured on its sides.
