In Rajnagar, the death of an aide, Salman, sparked accusations from Congress candidate Vikram Singh against the BJP, alleging distribution of money and liquor. State Congress Chief Nath claimed to have evidence in the form of videos showcasing such practices.

Amidst the political fervor, Home Minister Narottam Mishra made a controversial statement suggesting celebrations in Pakistan if any party other than the BJP won the election.
