Vinod Thomas, discovered deceased in Pampadi, succumbed to carbon monoxide inhalation, as per the preliminary postmortem report. The 47-year-old actor was found lifeless in his car near a Pampadi bar’s parking lot on Saturday evening.
Authorities from the Papmpadi police initiated an investigation into the unnatural death and have scheduled a Motor Vehicle Department inspection of Vinod’s car on Monday. Security personnel at the bar alerted the police after observing Vinod’s prolonged absence from his vehicle.
Pampadi SHO Suvarnakumar and the police team confirmed Vinod’s demise at the scene, subsequently transporting the body to Kottayam Medical College Hospital. With a career spanning 16 movies, 20 short films, plays, and serials, Vinod Thomas left an impactful artistic legacy. Notably, he remained unmarried throughout his life.
