The Kerala Police, responding to the surge in sexual offenses against children, escalated efforts against child pornography. In coordinated raids on Saturday, they arrested 10 individuals statewide and filed 46 cases linked to the alleged consumption and dissemination of objectionable content involving minors. Authorities emphasized the severity of the issue by seizing 123 electronic devices during the operation.
The crackdown unfolded as part of Operation P-Hunt, a targeted initiative by the Kerala Police to combat child pornography. Notably, arrests were made in various districts, with four individuals apprehended in Malappuram, two each in Idukki and Kochi city, and one person each in Alappuzha and Ernakulam rural area.
