Kozhikode Man’s Body Exhumed for Postmortem Following Father’s Complaint.

The Areacode police have made the decision to exhume the body of 36-year-old Pulikkayil Thomas, also known as Thomman, following a complaint filed by his father, who expressed suspicion regarding his son’s death. The deceased, a tipper lorry driver from Panampilavil near Thottumukkam, will undergo an autopsy at the Panampilavu St Mary’s Church cemetery.

According to the complaint, Thomas passed away on November 4. It was only after his funeral that his parents discovered he had been attacked by his friends, resulting in serious injuries. When the parents approached the friends, conflicting statements were allegedly provided, raising suspicions and prompting the filing of a complaint.

Thomas had complained of severe shoulder pain before his death and had consulted a doctor, who recommended an X-ray scan. The report revealed a shoulder fracture, and he was planning to seek further treatment from an orthodontist. The unfolding details surrounding his demise have led to a decision to investigate through exhumation and postmortem examination.
