The 15th State CBSE Youth Festival is set to commence at Sree Sarada Vidyalaya, Kalady, on November 24. Navya Nair, the acclaimed film actor, will inaugurate the festival, marked by the lighting of 15 lamps on the dais by Adi Shankara Managing Trustee K Anand, symbolizing the event’s 15th edition.

Presided over by CBSE School Management Association President TPM Ibrahim Khan, the function will witness the presence of various dignitaries, including P S Ramachandran Pillai, Roji M John, Anwar Sadath, S Suhas, and more. Minister P Rajeev and Adi Sankara Trust Managing Trustee K Anand serve as chief patrons for the festival.

State Film Award winner Rajeesha Vijayan is slated to inaugurate the valedictory function on November 26, chaired by Benny Behanan MP. Preceding the festival, a proclamation procession will grace Kalady on November 22, with the three-day event adhering to a green protocol across 25 venues.

The festival, featuring 140 events, will unfold at venues like Sree Sarada Vidyalaya, Adi Sankara BEd Training College, Sree Sankara College, and Adi Sankara Engineering College. Approximately 10,000 talents are expected to participate, and preparations have been finalized for a seamless schedule from 8 am to 9 pm.

For logistical ease, designated parking areas have been allocated, with VIP vehicles accommodated at the B-VOC ground. Pazhayidom Namboothiri will craft a sumptuous feast, a noteworthy return to the kitchen after a prior announcement refraining from cooking for state school youth festivals. Over three days, more than 75,000 people are anticipated to be served, relishing Pazhayidom’s delectable creations, including payasam.
