During the announcement event held in the state capital, Keerthy Suresh not only accepted the ambassadorial role but also took part in the launch of online ticket sales for the upcoming T20I between India and Australia on November 26th in Thiruvananthapuram.

Highlighting the significance of this partnership, a representative from the KCA stated, “Keerthy Suresh’s association brings a new level of enthusiasm and recognition to our women’s cricket team.”

As part of the festivities, the actor honored Minnu Mani, Kerala’s sole national team player, who played a pivotal role in India’s gold medal triumph at the Hangzhou Asian Games. Minnu, the first Kerala player to don the Indian colors, received a commendable cash award of Rs 5 lakh.
