4 Army personnel killed, 2 injured in J&K terrorist encounter

In a tragic incident, four Army personnel, including two captains, lost their lives, and two others sustained injuries during a fierce encounter between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Wednesday. The joint operations were launched in the Kalakote area of Gulabgarh forest in Rajouri on Sunday. The intensity of the operation has escalated with the addition of extra troops. Residents reported an ongoing cordon-and-search operation in the area since Sunday aimed at tracking down terrorists.
