Dubai: Dubai authorities have announced UAE National Day holidays for government employees. Dubai Media Office announced that the holidays will begin on Saturday, December 2, until Monday, December 4, 2023. Public sector employees will return to work on Tuesday, December 5. Remote work will take place on December 1, except for jobs that require in-office presence.
Earlier, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre) had declared December 2 and 3 as paid public holidays for private sector workers.

The National Day is celebrated in the UAE on December 2 and it marks the unification of the emirates into a federation. Also called the UAE Union Day, the UAE marks the National Day on December 2 every year to celebrate the unification of the Emirates in 1971. The country turns 52 this year.
