28 suicides this year include death of 20-year-old NEET aspirant in Kota

In Kota, Rajasthan, a 20-year-old student committed himself on Monday, bringing the total number of instances this year to 28. The pupil was identified as West Bengali native Faureed Hussain.

A NEET candidate named Hussain was found hanging in his rented room in the city’s Wakf Nagar area. When he was brought to the hospital, doctors declared him dead.

The information indicates that the student resided in the rented home, which also housed a few other students.

The last time the students saw Hussain was around 4 p.m., after which his room was sealed from the inside until almost 7 p.m.

When Hussain would not answer their calls, his buddies begged the landlord to step in.

The cops arrived at the scene and discovered the body of the student.

In response to the tragedy, the police stated that they had notified his family members and were looking into the reason behind the suicide.

According to them, the student’s remains will be given to his family after a postmortem examination.

The past several months have seen an alarming increase in student suicide cases in Kota, which has the local authorities concerned.

The authorities have now ordered all coaching facilities to install anti-hanging devices in their ceiling fans, and they have also directed institutes to stop holding exams for a two-month period.
