Ras Al Khaimah: An emirate in the UAE has announced 50% discount on public fines throughout December. The Department of Public Services in Ras Al Khaimah has announced this new scheme to celebrate UAE’s 52nd National Day.
The authority has urged individuals to seize this opportunity to clear fines. Khaled Fadl Al Ali, the Director General of the Ras Al Khaimah Services Department, emphasised that the initiative is part of the department’s commitment to spreading joy among members of society on Union Day.

The National Day is celebrated in the UAE on December 2 and it marks the unification of the emirates into a federation. Also called the UAE Union Day, the UAE marks the National Day on December 2 every year to celebrate the unification of the Emirates in 1971. The country turns 52 this year.
