Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Member of Parliament, is set to embark on a three-day visit to Wayanad starting Wednesday. His itinerary includes active participation in a range of events spanning the Wayanad parliamentary constituency, encompassing Wayanad, Kozhikode, and Malappuram districts. Additional engagements will take him to Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kochi.
In Kozhikode, Rahul Gandhi is slated to join a book release event showcasing the speeches of the late P Seethi Haji. Furthermore, he will engage in various programs in Nilambur on Wednesday. Thursday’s agenda features the inauguration of the new block at Iqraa Hospital in Sulthan Bathery by Rahul Gandhi in the morning. Later in the afternoon, he will participate in a review meeting on the National Highway expansion project at the Civil Station in Kalpetta. Additionally, he will ceremonially flag off three ambulances procured for the Government Medical College Hospital in Mananthavady, funded through his MP fund. Evening activities will include paying floral tributes at the Pazhassi Memorial in Mananthavady.
On Friday, Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to confer the inaugural Priyadarshini Literary Award upon writer T. Padmanabhan in Kannur. He will also inaugurate the Mahila Congress state convention at Marine Drive in Kochi. This comprehensive three-day visit reflects Rahul Gandhi’s active involvement in diverse events and engagements across the Wayanad constituency and beyond.
