Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the president of the Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, was shot and killed inside his home on Tuesday in Jaipur by an unidentified assailant.
The gunfire gravely injured Guard Ajit Singh, who was there when the incident involving Gogamedi occurred. He is critically ill and presently in the intensive care unit.
An hour following the incident, Rohit Godara, a member of the infamous gang led by Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed to have committed the murder.
On Facebook, Rohit Godara announced that his group was solely to blame for the Karni Sena chief’s death.
