On Gurugram expressway, speeding truck abruptly applies its brakes, two bikers died

A speeding trailer truck abruptly applied its brakes, causing a vehicular pile-up at Bilaspur on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal expressway in Gurugram that claimed the lives of two businessmen on different bikes.

The event occurred on December 3 at approximately 8:45 am, based on the FIR that the victims’ friend filed.

The multi-vehicle crash also involved a canter truck and two car one of which was a BMW.

According to a police official, ‘Two bike riders were killed in the accident, while we have no information about any other injured. An FIR has been registered.’

The truck’s driver has been taken into custody. The two men were riding motorcycles with a group of buddies when they went out.

The deceased were recognized as Parmit Sood, a resident of Gurugram’s DLF Phase-1 region, and Prashant Narula, a resident of North Avenue Road, Punjabi Bagh, Delhi.

Mukul Kumar, a native of Delhi who was also among the group, reported the incident to the police. Sections 304-A, 279, and 427 have all been the subject of a case filed against the accused.

Seven of them, according to Mukul, were riding bikes on Sunday. Kumar was two to three kilometers behind the other four companions, while Narula and Sood were in front of him.

The director of Narula Industries, Prashant Narula, died while receiving care at Nalhar Medical College, while Paramjit Sood, who had been gravely injured in a car accident, died while receiving treatment at Fortis Hospital in Gurugram.
