Kolkata: A local train coach has derailed near Howrah railway station in West Bengal. No one died or got injured in the incident.
According to the Indian Railways, the fifth coach of the Bagnan-Howrah local train derailed. The train was approaching Platform Number 14 of Howrah station at the time of the accident. The coach derailed near the Tikiyapara car shed as it was approaching the Howrah station. The people got off from the local train as it was passing slowly and proceeded towards Howrah station on foot.

Train services on the line where the accident happened had been disrupted. An investigation has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the derailment.
