‘Animal,’ featuring Ranbir Kapoor, accumulates a global box office revenue of Rs 660 crore

The action drama film “Animal,” starring Ranbir Kapoor, has garnered Rs 660 crore in global box office earnings within nine days, as announced by the makers on Sunday. Released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam on December 1, the movie is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and features a star-studded cast, including Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Suresh Oberoi, and Prem Chopra. T-Series, the production house, shared the update on the film’s worldwide gross revenue on social media.

The film unfolds a violent narrative within the context of the strained relationship between Ranbir Kapoor’s character, Ranvijay Singh, and his father Balbir Singh, played by Anil Kapoor. While “Animal” has achieved success in theaters, it has faced criticism from some critics and viewers who find it misogynistic and excessively violent. Produced by T-Series, Cine1 Studios, and Bhadrakali Pictures, the movie is helmed by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar.
