Mumbai: Leading automaker in the country, Maruti Suzuki India is offering massive year-end discounts on its off-roader, Jimny. The Jimny was launched in India in June. The Jimny is available in two variants — Zeta and Alpha.
Maruti is now offering huge discounts on the Jimny. While the Zeta variant (MT and AT) has discounts up to Rs 2.21 lakh (Rs 2.16 lakh consumer offer and Rs 5,000 corporate bonus), customers can avail discounts up to Rs 1.21 lakh (Rs 1.16 lakh consumer offer and Rs 5,000 corporate bonus) on the Alpha variant.
Maruti sold 3,071 units of the vehicle in June, 3,778 units in July, 3,104 units in August, 2,651 units in September, 1,852 units in October and 1,020 units in November.

Zeta MT – Rs 12.74 lakh
Zeta AT – Rs 13.94 lakh
Alpha MT – Rs 13.69 lakh
Alpha AT – Rs 14.89 lakh
Alpha MT (Dual Tone) – Rs 13.85 lakh
Alpha AT (Dual Tone) – Rs 15.05 lakh
The carmaker has also introduced a special Thunder edition for the Jimny, which is priced Rs 2 lakh lower for the Zeta variant and Rs 1 lakh lower for the Alpha variant, over the standard model.
The Jimny uses K15B 1.5-litre petrol engine, which delivers 105PS of maximum power and 134Nm of peak torque. The transmission options include 5-speed MT and 4-speed AT. The mileage of the vehicle is claimed to be 16.94kmpl for the manual option and 16.39kmpl for the automatic option.
