For optimal viewing of this celestial spectacle, scientists recommend stargazers in Eastern Australia, New Zealand, and Oceania to turn their gaze skyward on December 12 between 8:00 and 12:30 UT, albeit acknowledging that the exact timing may exhibit slight variations.
