Mumbai: Kawasaki India slashed the price of its Kawasaki W175. The bike was introduced last year, with a starting price of Rs 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom). The Japanese manufacturer has reduced the price of the motorcycle by a commendable Rs 25,000. The Kawasaki W175 is now priced between Rs 1.22 lakh and Rs 1.31 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
This bike is offered in Metallic Ocean Blue and Metallic Graphite Grey colours. Meanwhile, the prices for the Metallic Ocean Blue and Metallic Graphite Grey variants, respectively, start at Rs 1.31 lakh and Rs 1.29 lakh.

At the India Bike Week 2023 last weekend, Kawasaki introduced a new variant for the W175 called the W175 Street, which comes standard with alloy wheels and tubeless tyres and is priced at Rs 1.35 lakh.

The Kawasaki W175 has a round headlamp, round rearview mirrors, a long seat, and 17-inch spoke wheels on the front and rear. It comes with a semi-digital retro-style instrument cluster. The W175 features a peashooter exhaust, a retro speedometer with a small LCD, front disc brakes with single-channel ABS, and halogen headlamps.
It is powered by a 177cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that generates 13.3 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM and 13 bhp at 7000 RPM power. It is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The bike has dual shock absorbers at the back and telescopic forks up front. The W175 has a single 270 mm disc brake with single-channel ABS up front, and a drum brake at the back for braking.
