Tehran: Iran government has announced visa-free entry for visitors from 33 countries including India. Iran has lifted lifting visa requirements for 33 countries.
‘The ministry of tourism believes that an open-door policy will showcase Iran’s determination to engage with different countries of the world,’ Iranian Students News Agency reported.

Iran has already announced visa waiver programmes for visitors who are citizens of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Oman, China, Armenia, and Syria.
More than 4.4 million foreigners visited Iran during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (started on March 21). This is an increase of 48.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
