Heathy breakfast: Apple Avocado Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:
– 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
– 1 medium-sized apple, cored and diced
– 1 banana, peeled
– 1 cup spinach leaves (optional, for added nutrition)
– 1 cup Greek yogurt or almond milk (for a dairy-free option)
– 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
– 1 cup ice cubes
– 1/2 cup water (adjust for desired consistency)

Instructions:

1. In a blender, combine the ripe avocado, diced apple, peeled banana, and spinach leaves if using.

2. Add Greek yogurt or almond milk to the blender.

3. If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, include honey or maple syrup.

4. Toss in the ice cubes for a chilled and refreshing texture.

5. Blend all the ingredients on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

6. If the smoothie is too thick, add water gradually until you reach your preferred consistency.

7. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or thickness as needed.
