Ex-Punjab Cop, known for U.S. TV appearances apprehended for heroin possession

A former constable from the Punjab police and a previous contestant on the popular reality TV program ‘America’s Got Talent,’ recognized as the tallest Sikh globally at 7 feet 6 inches, has been apprehended alongside two associates for possessing 500 grams of heroin. Reports indicate that Jagdeep Singh, also known as Deep Singh, was arrested in Tarn Taran district, with the illicit substance found in the SUV he was driving, as stated by a senior police official.

Singh, recognizable for cruising in a vehicle adorned with a ‘Punjab Police’ sticker, resigned from the police force. His notable appearances include Season 14 of ‘America’s Got Talent,’ where he belonged to the Bir Khala Group, reaching the quarterfinals. Additionally, Singh participated in ‘America’s Got Talent: All-Stars,’ ‘India’s Got Talent’ (the Indian rendition of the U.S. show), and the 10th season of ‘Australia’s Got Talent.’
