Kia unveils 2024 Kia Sonet facelift in India: Features

Mumbai: Kia India  unveiled the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift in the country. This was the second world premiere of the compact SUV taking place in India after the maiden showcase in 2020. The bookings for the new Sonet will open on December 20. The 2024 Kia Sonet facelift may be launched in  India in January. The 2024 Kia Sonet facelift price in India is expected to be between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2024 Kia Sonet facelift gets 25 safety features, including 10 ADAS features and 15 standard safety features. The following are the ADAS features of the updated model:

Forward collision warning

Forward collision-avoidance assist (cars, pedestrians, and cyclists)

Lane keeping assist

Lane departure warning

Driver attention warning

Lane following assist

High beam assist

Leading vehicle departure alert

The vehicle also has over 70 connected car features with new Hinglish commands. Below are some of the innovative features of the 2024 Sonet facelift:

The 2024 Kia Sonet facelift is being offered in three different trims — X-Line, GT-Line, Tech-Line. There are three engine and five transmission options. The engine options include Smartstream G1.2-litre petrol (83PS/115Nm), Smartstream G1.0-litre T-Gdi petrol (120PS/172Nm) and 1.5-litre CRDi VGT diesel (116PS/250Nm). The transmission options include 5-speed MT with 1.2 petrol, 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT with 1.0 turbo petrol, and 6-speed MT, 6-speed iMT and 6-speed AT with 1.5 diesel.
