Akasa Air launches daily flights connecting these cities: Details

Chennai: Akasa Air  officially launched its operations from Port Blair in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The airline will operate  a daily flight service connecting Bengaluru and Port Blair via Chennai. Port Blair  becomes Akasa Air’s 17th domestic destination.

Flight QP 1485 departs from Bengaluru at 06:00 and arrives in Chennai at 07:05 daily. From Chennai, the flight continues as QP 1485, departing at 07:45 and reaching Port Blair at 09:55. This leg of the journey operates as a one-stop service and is available daily.

For the return journey, Flight QP 1486 starts from Port Blair at 10:35, stops at Chennai at 13:00, and reaches Bengaluru at 14:50 daily. The flight from Port Blair to Chennai is non- stop service.

Akasa Air began its commercial operations from August 07, 2022. It has successfully completed one year of commercial operations. Since its launch, Akasa Air has successfully served over 6.3 million passengers and has established connections with 17 cities across India namely Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, Guwahati, Agartala, Pune, Lucknow, Goa, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar, Port Blair and  Kolkata. Akasa Air will add 54 additional aircraft in next few years, taking its total fleet size to 72 aircraft..
