Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the second phase of Kashi Tamil Sangamam at Namo Ghat in Varanasi on Sunday. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present at the event. The second phase will take place from December 17 to 30, with the first batch of the Tamil delegation arriving on December 15. About 1,400 people, representing various walks of life from different parts of Tamil Nadu, are expected to participate. The participants will visit Prayagraj and Ayodhya as part of their tour itinerary. Over 42,000 people registered for the event, and 200 individuals for each group were selected by the committee. The venue will feature stalls displaying art, culture, handlooms, handicrafts, cuisine, and other products from Tamil Nadu and Kashi. Additionally, cultural programs that blend Tamil Nadu and Kashi cultures will be organized at Namo Ghat. The event will also include seminars, discussions, and lectures covering literature, ancient texts, philosophy, spirituality, music, dance, drama, yoga, ayurveda, handloom, handicrafts, and more.
