Three young men lost their lives after being struck by the 13053 Howrah-Radhikapur Kulik Express while creating a social media reel on a railway bridge in West Bengal’s Murshidabad district. The tragic incident occurred between Sujnipara and Ahiron stations in the Azimganj-New Farakka section of the Malda division. Two other companions managed to escape by jumping into a river below just in time.
Railway officials from the Eastern Railway (ER) issued a warning, urging people to avoid railway tracks, emphasizing the potential danger of trains arriving suddenly. The ER emphasized the importance of staying vigilant near railway tracks, as a brief lapse in attention could lead to fatal consequences.
