Delhi CM skips second ED summons, alleges political motives. In response to the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) second summons in a money laundering case related to the Delhi government’s excise policy, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed the summons were politically motivated and illegal. He accused political rivals of orchestrating the summons to silence the Opposition’s voice. Kejriwal, known for a transparent and honest life, asserted he had nothing to hide. The CM, on a 10-day Vipassana meditation course, emphasized the questionable timing of the summons, alleging it aimed at creating sensational news before the upcoming parliamentary elections. In his response, he criticized the lack of clarity in the summons regarding the capacity in which he was summoned and highlighted the absence of specific details about the case or reasons for his summons.
