Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to conduct a roadshow and address a public gathering in Ayodhya on December 30, following the inauguration of an airport and the revamped railway station in the temple town, officials confirmed on Sunday. The airport inauguration precedes the consecration ceremony at the Ram temple scheduled for January 22.
Covering approximately 15 km between the airport and railway station, the roadshow will traverse key locations such as Dharam Path, Lata Mangeshkar Chowk, Ram Path, Tedhi Bazaar, and Mohabra intersection. Ayodhya District Magistrate Nitish Kumar noted that the Prime Minister will commence with the inauguration of the Ayodhya airport, followed by the roadshow to the railway station. At the station, Modi will flag off Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat trains, returning to the airport for a public meeting after addressing the public at the railway station.
During the roadshow, cultural performances are planned at 51 locations, with sages and saints bestowing blessings upon the Prime Minister. The inaugural flight to Ayodhya is expected to arrive at 11:20 am, departing from Delhi at 10 am. Additionally, Modi will lay the foundation for a five-kilometer-long flyover connecting the railway station and the airport, and a visit to the renowned Hanuman Garhi Temple is also anticipated.
