BJP Launches ‘Agenda-24’ with Aim to Secure 400 Seats

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has set an ambitious goal of securing 350-400 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and has outlined its strategy in a plan called ‘Agenda-24.’ Following a two-day meeting of national office-bearers, the party is mobilizing its efforts for the 2024 general election. ‘Agenda-24’ involves clustering four Lok Sabha constituencies together, assigning an in-charge for each cluster to oversee party activities. State units and affiliated organizations are directed to implement ‘Agenda-24’ in a mission mode by March-April.

According to senior party sources, the BJP aims to make significant inroads into the hinterland by promoting its ideology of ‘nation first’ and ‘vision 2047 of Viksit-Bharat.’ The party is strategically working to secure an unprecedented number of seats, targeting more than 350-400. Clusters of constituencies have been scientifically prepared in all states, and party workers, armed with a report card on the Modi government’s nine-year performance, have initiated a personal contact campaign. Over 120 senior leaders with key roles within the organization have been tasked with monitoring the clusters.
