Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Ayodhya on December 30, ahead of the idol placement in the new Ayodhya temple. The visit precedes the inauguration of several projects, including the ‘Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham,’ marking the fifth international airport in Uttar Pradesh. Modi will also open the Ayodhya Dham Junction railway station, constructed with over Rs 240 crore, equipped with modern facilities like elevators, escalators, food plazas, and child care rooms.
The agenda includes flagging off two Amrit Bharat trains, introducing a new category of superfast passenger trains in India, and launching six new Vande Bharat trains to enhance rail connectivity. Modi will dedicate three railway projects worth Rs 2,300 crore, crucial for improving travel and transportation in and around Ayodhya. In a grand public program, he will launch various developmental projects valued at over Rs 15,700 crore in Uttar Pradesh, with a focus on Ayodhya’s development and vicinity.
Additionally, Modi will initiate the development and beautification of tourist facilities along the banks of Ayodhya, including Naya Ghat to Laxman Ghat. He will also launch an ambitious Greenfield township project valued at over Rs 2,180 crore and the Vashishtha Kunj Residential Scheme, estimated at around Rs 300 crore. The overall allocation reflects the government’s commitment to accessible and green-certified infrastructure and the enhancement of Ayodhya’s cultural and tourist attractions.
