Indian superstar Rajinikanth has been invited to attend the inaugural ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya

Indian film icon Rajinikanth has received an invitation to attend the inaugural ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The invitation was extended by Ra. Arjunamurthy, a leader of the ruling party BJP, who shared the news on social media along with photos of Rajinikanth holding the invitation card. In the images, Rajinikanth is seen dressed in a traditional white kurta and veshti, a traditional South Indian outfit.

Arjunamurthy expressed his joy at visiting Rajinikanth’s residence to extend the invitation, stating that it was the best experience of his life. The invitation is for the Ayodhya Kumbabhishek event scheduled for January 22, where thousands of devotees are expected for the Ram temple’s ‘pran pratishtha.’ The event will also be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and over 4,000 saints from across the country have been invited.

Rajinikanth’s presence at the event adds a touch of stardom, and invitations have been extended to various prominent leaders and actors. Rajinikanth, a beloved figure in the Indian film industry, has recently made a special appearance to greet fans outside his Chennai residence on New Year’s Day. His upcoming film, “Vettaiyan,” will feature him alongside Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, marking a reunion of the two actors after their last collaboration in the 1991 film “Hum.” The movie also stars Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, and Dushara Vijayan.
