Two individuals suspected of involvement in the shooting outside Salman Khan’s Bandra residence have been apprehended by Mumbai police. Identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, they were arrested in Bhuj, Gujarat, on Tuesday and have since been brought back to the city. The incident occurred early Sunday when motorcycle-borne assailants fired shots outside Galaxy Apartments, where Khan resides, with their faces concealed.
The shooting, which involved four rounds fired, was described as a well-planned event by authorities. Investigations revealed that a Facebook post claiming responsibility for the attack was traced back to an IP address in Portugal. Anmol Bishnoi, brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, purportedly made the claim, labeling it a “first and last warning.” Police suspect the use of a VPN to mask the origin of the post.
Following the incident, security measures at Galaxy Apartments were heightened, with an increased police presence. While Salman Khan has yet to publicly address the shooting, his brother Arbaaz Khan refuted earlier reports suggesting it was a publicity stunt. Salman was later seen leaving the apartment under heavy security, marking his first appearance since the incident, accompanied by police vans, while Iulia Vantur, his rumored partner, was also observed departing from the premises.
