Mumbai: The Gurugram-based electric mobility arm of SAR Group, Lectrix EV, has launched its new electric two-wheeler.The e-scooter comes with a battery-as-a-service (BaaS) program.
This means that customers can enjoy an unlimited battery warranty by paying for the battery services on a subscription basis. The first-ever e-scooter with a battery-as-a-service program comes with a price tag of only Rs 49,999.

The brand will offer customers a battery-as-a-service facility along with this electric scooter. However, EV owners will have to pay a separate monthly subscription of Rs 1499 for the battery.
The e-scooter offers a driving range of up to 100 kilometres. Moreover, it can reach a maximum speed of 50 kilometres per hour.
Meanwhile, the company launched the LXS 2.0 electric scooter in February 2024 that promises a range of 98 km on a single charge. EV owners get a 2.3 kWh battery pack and is priced at an accessible Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom).
