KSRTC’s Nava Kerala bus service is set to commence operations from May 5, expanding its route to include the Kozhikode-Bengaluru stretch. Originally part of the Nava Kerala Sadas program, the bus will depart Kozhikode at 4 am, arriving in Bengaluru by 11:35 am. Its return journey from Bengaluru to Kozhikode is scheduled for 2:30 pm, with stops at Kozhikode, Kalpetta, Sulthan Bathery, Mysore, and Bengaluru along the route. The ticket price, inclusive of cess, is Rs 1171, with an additional 5 percent luxury tax applicable for AC buses.
This modern, air-conditioned bus boasts 26 push-back seats for passenger comfort, along with a specially designed hydraulic lift controlled by passengers to aid boarding for differently abled individuals and seniors. Furthermore, the bus features onboard amenities including toilets, wash basins, a television, music system, and mobile recharge facilities. KSRTC ensures ample space for passengers to store their belongings during the journey, enhancing overall convenience.
With the introduction of the Nava Kerala bus service, passengers traveling between Kozhikode and Bengaluru can expect a seamless and comfortable journey, complete with modern amenities and facilities catering to diverse passenger needs.
