BMW launches M4 CS in India: Price, Features

Mumbai: BMW India has launched the all-new M4 CS in India. This is BMW’s  first-ever CS model in the country. The all-new BMW M4 CS is priced at Rs  1.89 crore (ex-showroom). The car will be available in the country as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) model and can be booked at the BMW dealership network.

The design features of the all-new BMW M4 CS include red contour lines and the ‘M4 CS’ badging on the upper of the two horizontal grille bars. The M4 CS gets yellow-tinted daytime-running lights. The kidney grille features a red outline, as well as bronze wheels. The head-up display gets M-specific graphics, while there’s also a dedicated M Mode button on the centre console. There is an M-specific Setup button on the centre console, that enables direct access to the settings options for the engine, chassis, steering, braking system, and all-wheel drive.

It gets a flat-bottom Alcantara M steering wheel and has the latest iteration of BMW’s curved display, which comprises a 14.9-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, running the latest BMW Operating System 8.5. BMW has also equipped the M4 CS with M Carbon bucket seats. Other highlights include red ‘CS’ lettering on the centre console, M seat belts, M4 CS door sills, and more.

The special-edition model is equipped as standard with M Compound brakes with calipers painted in Red. M Carbon ceramic brakes are available optionally, and it gets an M front-end strut brace. The gearbox is an 8-speed Steptronic suspension, while there’s adaptive suspension on offer.

The CS is also equipped with lighter wheels, with 19-inch alloys up front and 20-inchers at the rear. The BMW M4 CS can sprint from 0-100kph in 3.4 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 302kph. The BMW M4 CS makes use of 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight-six engine as the standard M4. The engine is tuned to produce 550hp. The peak torque remains unchanged at 650Nm, however.
