Mumbai: The premium car maker Kia has launched Kia EV9, alongside with 2024 Carnival Limousine. These models have been released with a price tag of Rs 1.3 crore and Rs. 63.90 lakh respectively.
The company has already kickstarted the booking for both models, and the deliveries will begin soon. Both the CBU units can be reserved via authorised dealership nationwide or online through Kia’s official website in India.

The EV9 gets a massive front fascia, featuring a unique headlight setup, paired with sleek DRLs with the trending connected light strip bar at the front. There is an underbody silver finished skid plate for extra protection during challenging roads.
The SUV comes with a ground clearance of 200 mm and offers wheel options ranging from 20 to 22 inches. It uses a robust 99.8kWh battery pack that provides a maximum range of up to 490km on a single charge. It is a dual-electric all-wheel drive (AWD) version that generates a maximum power of 379bhp and 700 Nm of torque. The company claims that it can do 0-100km/h in just 5.3 seconds.
The updated Carnival features an aggressive grille at the front, vertical LED headlights and L-shaped LED DRLs. It runs on the latest 18-inch alloy wheels. The model is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine, generating an overall output of 192hp and 441Nm of torque. The unit is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
