Durga Saptashati contains the 700 verses. This is also called as Devi Mahatmyam or Chandi Path, which is considered as the most sacred book or scriptures dedicated to Goddess Durga. It represents the triumph of good over evil and tells the story of the Goddess’ conquest over many forms of evil. During Navratri, chanting the Durga Saptashati mantras are believed to bring good fortune as it invokes Maa Durga’s blessings for prosperity, strength, and protection.
Devi Mantras which you can chant during Navratri:
“Om Sarva Swarupe Sarveshe Sarva Shakti Samanvite
Bhayebhyas Trahi No Devi Durge Devi Namostute”
Meaning: “O Devi, who exists in all forms, who is the embodiment of all powers, protect us from all fears. Salutations to you, O Goddess Durga.”
“Ya Devi Sarva Bhuteshu Matru Rupena Samsthita, Ya Devi Sarva Bhuteshu Shakti Rupena Samsthita, Ya Devi Sarva Bhuteshu Buddhi Rupena Samsthita, Namastasyai Namastasyai Namastasyai Namo Namah”
Meaning: “Salutations to the Goddess who resides in all beings as the mother, as power, and as wisdom. I repeatedly bow to her.”
“Aparajitaasi Devi Vishwasyai Parameshwari, Narayani Namostute Sarvasiddhi Pradayike”

Meaning: “O Goddess, you are invincible and the supreme ruler of the world. Salutations to you, O Narayani, the giver of all spiritual accomplishments.”
“Om Aim Hreem Kleem Chamundayai Vichche”
Meaning: “I bow to the fierce and powerful form of Goddess Chamunda, who is the destroyer of evil.”
“Om Sarva Mangala Mangalye Shive Sarvaartha Saadhike, Sharanye Tryambake Gauri Narayani Namostute”
Meaning: “Salutations to the auspicious one, who brings happiness. O Gauri, who is the fulfiller of all objectives, the one who gives refuge, I bow to you.”
