WhatsApp has introduced a new Message Drafts feature to enhance user convenience and streamline communication. This update eliminates the need to save unfinished messages in personal chats. Messages being composed are automatically saved as drafts and moved to the top of the chat list, marked with a green “Draft” badge for easy identification. The feature is now available globally for all Android and iOS users. WhatsApp stated that this functionality aims to help users quickly locate and complete incomplete messages, ensuring seamless communication.
In addition to the drafts feature, WhatsApp has been rolling out various updates to improve user experience. Notable recent additions include low-light mode for video calls, which enhances visibility during calls by enabling users to tap a bulb icon. Another standout innovation is the self-messaging feature, allowing users to take notes and store personal reminders directly within the app until they are manually removed. These updates highlight WhatsApp’s ongoing efforts to cater to user needs and enhance its platform’s usability.
