The most awaited adventure Bike Benelli TRK 502 has been launched soon in india. The Benelli Leoncino will be launched in India during this festive season. The Benelli Leoncino was first showcased at the EICMA Motorcycle Show in 2016.
The Chairman of DSK Motowheels, Shirish Kulkarni, has said that they are gearing up for the Leoncino Scrambler. The biggest USP of the motorcycle is the eye catching retro styled aesthetics with U-shaped DRLs on the head lamps. The turn indicators and tail light also gets an LED treatment.
The seats are soft and comfortable. The instruments cluster is a complete digital one. The motorcycle is suspended on an upside down front fork and adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear. The braking duties are taken care of by a 320 mm front disc and 260 mm rear disc with radial calipers.
Mechanically, the Benelli Leoncino Scrambler is fitted with a 499.6 cc liquid cooled, twin cylinder engine under the hood. The engine is tuned to produce a maximum power of 49.6 bhp at 8,500 revolutions per minute and a peak torque of 45 Nm at 4,500 revolutions per minute. The power will be transmitted to the wheels via a 6-speed transmission gearbox.
The Benelli Leoncino Scrambler is one of the most attractive looking retro styled cafe racer-type motorcycle with pleasant off road capabilities. The motorcycle is expected to get a price tag of somewhere close to Rs. 5 lakhs to Rs. 5.5 lakhs. If it is retailed at this range, it will turn out to be a very good alternative to the costlier Ducati Scrambler.
