This Bollywood diva has never shied away from flaunting herself. In true sense, she is the ‘Queen of Bollywood’. We are talking about Kareena Kapoor Khan (Bebo), one of the best things that Bollywood has given us.
It was in December 2016 when she embraced motherhood and welcomed her first child, a baby boy, named Taimur. Throughout her pregnancy, she broke all the stereotypes, flaunting her baby bump with full panache. And, she is in news again !
Kareena has lost most of her pregnancy weight in hardly five months. You won’t believe how much weight Bebo has shed. As per sources, she has lost 12 kilos after Taimur’s birth.
Kareena is gearing up for her next, Rhea Kapoor’s Veere Di Wedding and to fit in the role, she is on a weight loss spree. She is planning to lose 8 more kilos. She is looking fitter than ever after this post-pregnancy weight loss.
Kareena practices yoga daily, and her yoga instructor, Anshuka Parwani shared that Bebo is not counting kilos and her main focus is on strengthening her core muscles.
Anshuka has designed a special workout routine for Bebo, which she is following well. She is not only practicing yoga but also doing ‘flying fit’, a type of aerial twists and palates.
“It is not about jumping but holding postures. Bebo can hold position for upto two minutes which is an achievement. Her workout is tailor-made and we keep changing the routines. Post pregnancy, it has been a lot more about balancing out hormones and the endocrine system.” Anshuka said.
“She practices the ‘Aerial Silk Yoga’ which uses a low-hanging hammock to aid traditional postures by supporting your entire body weight mid-air. Bebo and I are always working towards achieving more aligned postures through relaxation and breathing. I usually travel with her so we don’t miss a session and when I can’t she does cardio,” Anshuka added.
