The Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has declared the Class 10 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam results 2017 at mahresult.nic.in recently.
As per sources, around 48, 570 students have secured above 90%, however, the success rate has declined marginally by 0.8% in comparison with the last year.
“The overall pass percentage is at 88.7. Girls pass percentage is at 91.4, while Boys stand at 86.5%,” the sources said.
The Maharashtra Board conducted class 10th exam from March 7 to March 29, 2017. More than 17.66 lakh students—9,89,908 were boys and 7,76,190 were girls—registered for the exam.
Maharashtra Board Class 12 (HSC) results 2017 were declared on May 30 with an overall pass percentage of 89.50. The passing percentage for girls was 93.20, compared to 86.65 of boys.
